this app is useless and pointless. dont know why it even exists. i downloaded it in order to upload a picture from my computer and you cant upload pictures? like what? how stupid is that? its instagram and you cant upload pictures? SUPER beyond disappointed. INSTAGRAM should fix this. and everyones saying “it works” uh yeah, it works, but the only thing you can do is look at pictures, which is cool, no issue there, but its extremely inconvientent.

Pro version has NO additional features and since you can’t upload an image, being able to launch the app verses via your browser of choice is only a few additional key strokes. Don’t Get This APP, it is Worthless.

As a pro photographer, I was looking forward to managing my photos (most of which are not taken on my iPhone) from my desktop. This would encourage me to post more often. This app will not allow you to do this. Yes, I understand as many have stated that Instagram has always been this way before but why now with the addition of this desktop app (or at least the Pro version)? Why NOT allow desktop posting??? Ridiculous!!!

does the app has a function other than browsing? not worth it!

The app looks good. It functions well with its limited ability. However, it should say what it is selling you with the “pro” version. It’s reasonable for people to imagine or assume that it would include the ability to post pictures from your laptop, however, it does not. 5 dollars to merely be able to go to a browser size view seems steep to me. I feel that the purchase is a little misleading. What is pro about it at all when the only discernible difference is the large browser view? I’d like the ability to both post pictures and access multiple instagram accounts with one click. Whether or not that is possible with instagram’s API is not my concern. My concern is that they don’t openly tell you what you can and cannot do with this app. Great…I can look at one of my instagram accounts with your app. I paid $5 dollars for something I could do in Safari with the same functionality for free. Jokes on me. Buyer beware.

After installing, I noticed the About message…that says "LEGAL NOTE: App for Instagram is a 3rd party app and is not affiliated with Instagram. Instagram and its logo is trademarks of Instagram LLC.” … Your similar logo got me. :/

total waste of money. I wish I had read these reviews before enthusiastically hitting upgrade to pro, what a joke to call it an upgrade or pro. couldnt be more unprofessional and a total scam. the support link goes to to an under construction page.

Total crap. Purchased pro version. Won’t allow me to upload photos. Won’t even allow me to upload a profile pic. Nothing works. Save your five dollars and don’t bother with this.

This app is so confusing!! It is basically a desktop bookmark of the Instagram website, and is way too compacted. Everything is pushed together, and it is super user-unfriendly. If you want instagram on a Mac, use the website! Don`t waste your money or time on this app!
