$5 for pro and you don’t even specify what it actually does? In addition, why would I only want an app for what a web page does? Sorry but this things existance is a waste of someones time and effort searching for something better for full use of instagram from a desktop computer. Until you add features or get the features to do what the moble apps do… this is pointless.

This app is exactly what you think it is. A 3rd party app to view your insta feed. Nothing more. $4.99 for the “Pro” upgrade!?!?! That’s absurd! From what I understand, Instagram is a mobile app and you can’t post from anywhere else. That’s ok…. but to charge an upgrade fee for a hotkey and a window you can expand, that’s what I call a rip off! I can do that on the website.

Its fine that its just like the phone app, but you also can’t upload pictures or even click on your followers or search for other users. Horrible. Waste of time.

It has no basic difference from the web app and is so poorly designed that it’s more of a hinderance then anything Instagram has. If you pay for pro on this thing, I have a bridge I’d like to sell you….

It’s Instagram in my menu bar. Exactly what I want. I’d like to have the icon removed from the Dock, tho. Seems pointless to have it there. Could use some more functionality. But all in all, again, it’s Instagram not in my browser. And I like that :)

The photo are not clear, I use retina Mac. I can not find people which I interested.

An app that offers quick and easy access to your Instagram feed on your desktop without having to launch a browser. That’s what it claims to offer and that’s exactly what it delivers. Nothing more. To all the negative trollers—if you think you can do better, then why haven’t you?

tried logging into my account. forgot password. entered username, and they told me that they sent a reset password email to an email which i completely don’t recognize. although i’m terrible at remembering which passwords i use for the dozens of apps i use, i am positive that the email address they sent my reset info to was not created by me. whether this is a problem with the app or if someone is hacking my insta account… im not happy and i’m deleting the app.

I was looking for a way to upload and delete photos for my account. However, I have not been able to perform this action in any other platform than that of my iPhone. I find that it is extemely time consuming and tedious to use my iPhone to upload and delete my pics. I thought that this app, or the PRO version would allow for this. THIS APP DOES NOTHING BUT LET YOU VIEW PHOTOS ON INSTAGRAM ONE-AT-A-TIME. Most ridiculous app ever. It is easier to go on the web to look at Instagram than with this app of the PRO. Worthless. Absolutely worthless.

U GUYS SHULD MAKE A WORKING SNAPCHAT APP FOR MAC BECAUSE SNAPPY DOES NOT WORK FOR ME OR ALOT OF OTHER PEOPLE

I downloaded the app and it wont let me log in to the account, i tryed while logged out from my phone and still didnt work, i wondering why?????? Every attemp i tryed to log in the app it will just re fresh to the main log on section and it wont sing you in?????

This app is a total ripoff….i would like a refund…...

The reason I downloaded this app was because I wanted an instagram app that works like the regular one on the phones. This is just a small version of whats on the website. You cant even see notifications.

Does not give you notifications on your photos or who you’re following. Does not update the feed in real time. I refreshed several times and it wouldn’t show me the most recent of who I was following until I closed and reopened. Pointless app. Deleted it.

It’s a decent app, easier to use than going on Instagram from your browser. However, you can’t see your followers, people you follow, and people that like your photos. You also do not get notifications, which is kinda sad. Three stars is the max this app could get.

The Pro features, such as the ability to hide the icon from the dock, shouldn’t be held hostage by in app purchase. Please provide more value than the Instagram web site wrapped into an Apple Menu application. Also, its seriously wrong that the whole time it sits in the Apple menu, it requires over 500MB of system memory. This should be significantly reduced.

but for some reason, I cant even log in. I type in my name and password and then it goes to a differnt log in screen and so i type it in again and then it basically just refreshes that screen and tells me to type it in again. I don’t want to give it a 1 star review but since I cant even use the app, what am I to do!?

This app is such a scam!! I even bought the pro version thinking I’d then be able to upload images from my desktop. Instead I upgraded to nothing better than viewing instagram on my internet browser!!! Don’t purchase this app!!!!

THE PRO VERSION IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE FREE VERSION. I wanted the “Desktop” functionality. Not there. Wasted $4. You won’t even see that you bought the pro version in purchases. You do get a little "thank you for going pro” message, and then it says “go to your settings and set up your app” but it only has the same exact two choices as it did before, start at login and see icon in menubar. When you click on their support page, it’s just a blank page with their company name and says “website coming soon”. Wasted 4 bucks, stupid me. ):

If you want to mess up your brand new iMac, install this right away. I did. And it worked! Now I cannot get rid of it :-) Whoever wrote this should be banned from the App store for life. Giving Apple a bad name… and Instagram too!
